Pterygoplichthys cf. gibbiceps (L164), often called Sailfin Pleco, is an L-catfish from Brazil (Rio Tefé, Amazon). The species reaches about 45 cm, is best kept at 23–28 °C and pH 6–7.5. In the aquarium it mainly eats algae, vegetables, wood chunks.
