Papa Panaque

Panaque bathyphilus (L090), often called Papa Panaque, is an L-catfish from Peru (Río Ucayali / Río Huallaga). The species reaches about 35 cm, is best kept at 23–27 °C and pH 6–7.5. In the aquarium it mainly eats roots, vegetables, pellets.

Keep stable water values around 23–27 °C and pH 6–7.5. Roots or wood should be present in the aquarium. Feed varied with roots, vegetables, pellets.
