Oligancistrus sp. (L353) is an L-catfish from Brazil (Rio Iriri / Rio Xingu, Pará). The species reaches about 12 cm, is best kept at 25–29 °C and pH 6–7. In the aquarium it mainly eats algae, vegetables, roots.

Keep stable water values around 25–29 °C and pH 6–7. Good oxygenation and clear water movement are recommended. Offer several hiding places and caves near the bottom. Roots or wood should be present in the aquarium. Feed a varied diet of algae, vegetables, roots.
