Hypancistrus seideli (L400) is an L-catfish from Brazil (Rio Xingu at Belo Monte, Pará). The species grows to about 12 cm, is best kept at 24–28 °C and pH 6–7.5. In the aquarium it primarily eats wood pieces, algae, pellets.
