Hypancistrus seideli (L399) is an L-catfish from Brazil (Rio Xingu at Belo Monte, Pará). The species reaches about 12 cm, is best kept at 24–28 °C and pH 6–7.5. In the aquarium it mainly eats algae, vegetables, zucchini.
