Glyptoperichthys xinguensis (L083), often called Sailfin Pleco, is an L-catfish from Brazil (Rio Xingu, Pará). The species reaches about 45 cm, is best kept at 26–30 °C and pH 6–7.5. In the aquarium it mainly eats algae, vegetables, wood pieces.
