Bulldog Pleco

Chaetostoma sp. (L412), often called Bulldog Pleco, is an L-catfish from Brazil (Rio Jauaru, Pará). The species grows to about 12 cm, is best kept at 18–24 °C and pH 6.5–7.5. In the aquarium it mainly eats algae, biofilm, vegetables.

Keep stable water values around 18–24 °C and pH 6.5–7.5. Good oxygenation and clear water movement are recommended. Feed a varied diet of algae, biofilm, vegetables.
