Baryancistrus niveatus (L026), often called Snowball Pleco, is an L-catfish from Brazil (Rio Tocantins). The species grows to about 30 cm, is best kept at 26–30 °C and pH 6–7. In the aquarium it mainly eats algae, vegetables, shrimp.
