Description
Ancistrus maximus (L110), often called Red Spot Bristlenose, is an L-catfish from Brazil (middle Rio Negro, Amazon). The species reaches about 25 cm, is best kept at 26–30 °C and pH 6–7.5. In the aquarium it mainly eats algae, vegetables, zucchini.
